For years, I followed the rules. Lesson plans, schedules, standard curriculum—the whole thing. But deep down, I knew something was missing. Kids weren’t thriving, they were just checking boxes.


When I had my own child, I knew I wanted something different. So I took the leap into homeschooling. And let me tell you… it was both exciting and terrifying.


I had all the same worries you do:

Spoiler alert: You don’t need to be a “perfect” teacher to give your kids an amazing education. You just need to create an environment where they love learning. And that’s exactly what I help parents do.

HOW I GOT HERE

This is my Story

I always wanted to be a teacher.

I started out as your typical teachers pet. A straight-A student with people-pleasing tendencies. I loved to learn in exactly the way school is deisgned.. quietly, reading, copying answers into worksheets and books. This was me for the next 10 or so years of my schooling experience.


Then all of a sudden, it changed. I wanted to explore who I was. I wanted to stand out. And the school didn't like that. So I left. I dropped out halfway through Year 11.


I worked at Maccas and thought "this is it". Little did I know, this was just the start. I enrolled in my Cert III in Children's Services & spent the next 10 or so years working (and having so much fun) with young kids under 5. In that time I also studied my Diploma and then I enrolled in my Bachelor's of Early Years Education and in my final year got my first teaching job. Dreams really do come true, I thought!

I spent 5 years happy in my teaching bubble before falling pregnant, so the plan was to return to work after a year.


Cue a real-life baby who shook my world up in the best way you could imagine. From then I started questioning everything and wether it was best for us a family. Fast forward and so began our homeschooling journey, and I have never looked back.
